The Chinese Food Expo, organized by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, kicked off on December 10 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, at the SIAL Middle East 2018. Its goal has been to support Chinese agricultural companies in expanding their markets in West Asia and North Africa, as well as promoting trade cooperation in agricultural products with the countries of the region.
The exhibition was attended by 19 companies from Guangdong, Shandong, Sichuan, Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang, Guangxi, Ningxia, Shanghai and other provinces and regions of China. These showcased various products, including fruits, vegetables, spices, tea, seafood, meat products, dairy products and more.
According to the organizers, the exhibition has held 4 editions to date, and these have played a major role in promoting mutually beneficial cooperation between China and the Arab countries.
