In some countries, there will not only be traffic bans on Christmas Day, but also on Boxing Day. It concerns the following countries:
- Bulgaria
- Germany
- Greece
- Hungary
- Italy
- Croatia
- Austria
- Poland
- Romania
- Slovenia
- Slovakia
- Spain (regional and on the city access roads)
- The Czech Republic
- Switzerland
Please note:
In France, there is only a traffic ban on Christmas Day, 25 December. In Luxembourg, the traffic ban is valid for vehicles going in the direction of Germany on 25 and 26 December. Those going in the direction of France are only banned on 25 December. On 1 January 2019, there will be a traffic ban in all of the countries as mentioned above.
