According to the official website of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the federal government will start subsidizing infant food producers from 2019, mainly for infant food and dry dairy producers.
Relevant personnel of the Ministry of Agriculture pointed out that the production of infant food is one of the priority development projects of food industry and processing industry. In this regard, Russia plans to provide short-term concessional loans of up to one year for dairy-based development projects of raw infant food. In addition, concessional investment loans will be provided to manufacturers for the purchase of facilities and equipment for the production of baby food.
The Ministry of Agriculture added that the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation would also take measures to support domestic buyers of baby food production equipment.
