According to trade data released by EU, EU soybean imports in 2018/19 were about 7.8 million tons between July 1, 2018 and January 20, 2019, an increase of about 11% over the same period last year and an increase of 11% last week. Soybean meal imports were about 9.6 million tons, down 13% from the same period last year and 13% from the same period last week. Palm oil imports were 3.4 million tons, down 5% from the same period last year and down 8% from the same period last week.
