Thanks to the growing interest that the sprout sector is having among consumers, the company "Vivo" has benefited from this, consolidating its turnover and registering a slight increase also in 2018, as stated by Andrea Farnedi. Additionally, he affirms: "We are satisfied with how 2018 ended, with an increase of 5% in turnover. On top of this, our customers have all confirmed their interest and encouraged us to continue on our line of innovations ".

According to Andrea Farnedi, the interest in the purchase of sprouts has also increased thanks to the huge success of microgreens, which have been the driving force for the whole sector. "We must also take into consideration that the sprouts packaged in plastic containers are ready to eat and can be easily used for several purposes. Therefore, what is now crucial is to not stay still and take benefit from the success they are having".

With respect to what is previously mentioned, "Vivo" never stays still: the company is about to launch on the market 5 new mixes of sprouts studied and developed by professional chefs and with a large-scale retail trade dedicated packaging to bestow upon the consumer a completely new tasting experience and approach to sprouts. "In 2019 we also intend to make new investments by purchasing new sprouters and packaging machines", continues Andrea Farnedi.
