Givaudan, the Swiss fragrances and flavours specialist, has completed its acquisition of Vietnamese flavour company, Golden Frog.

The company originally announced its intention to acquire Golden Frog for an undisclosed amount back in May.

Golden Frog manufactures natural flavours, extracts and essential oils for the food and beverage industry.

With headquarters and manufacturing facilities in the Ho Chi Minh area, Golden Frog employs 156 people and caters to the needs of the ASEAN markets.

“This acquisition supports us in further growing our leadership in the naturals space while strengthening our global and regional presence,” said Louie D’Amico, President of Givaudan’s Flavour Division.

Monila Kothari, Regional Commercial Head, Asia-Pacific, added: “With our combined talents, creation and production expertise, we will be able to provide an even greater product offering to help our customers win in the market and delight their consumers.”
