A double engine for double traction, without chains but in an oil bath, lithium batteries, a stop & go system: these are just some of the characteristics of the "Bagioni Alfiero" firm's new machine to facilitate asparagus harvesting.
The new machine was designed to minimize maintenance. In fact, it doesn't have a chain system but an oil bath one. There are two engines, in order to give independent traction on both sides."
This allows the machine to steer just like a track-laying tractor, rotating on itself, thus reducing maneuver space to zero. It is possible to choose between traditional lead batteries and one with lithium batteries.
