The US Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has prepared and is accepting comments on a pest risk analysis (PRA) regarding the importation of fresh carrots from the Republic of Korea into the United States.

After thorough analysis, APHIS scientists determined carrots from Korea can be safely imported into the United States with the application of one or more of the phytosanitary measures outlined in the PRA.
