Aldi and Migros are recalling several ready-made salads due to the presence of listeria. The two distributors recommend Thursday not to consume these products.

Aldi has recalled three salads across Switzerland as a precaution. The presence of listeria was detected during internal analyses of certain samples.

These items are: Mixed salad 320 g Fresh Cut, Bowl of vegetarian salad 250 g Fresh Cut (plain type) and Ultra-fresh salad 300 g Fresh Cut (sausage-cheese type), with a recommended consumption date of January 06 to 10.

Migros is recalling seven salads containing corn, in particular the M-Budget mixed salad and several products from the Anna’s Best range. An internal control revealed the presence of pathogenic bacteria of listeria type in corn, explains the orange giant. These salads were sold mainly in German-speaking Switzerland and Ticino.

As reported¸ customers can return the salads concerned to their Aldi and Migros branches. The purchase price will be refunded to them.
