Due to Kite’s continued growth and record year in 2021, the employee share-owned packaging company has expanded its offering to include the North West of the UK. The new regional distribution centre (RDC) is set to strategically serve industries from Cumbria down to Stoke-on-Trent, including as far as Wrexham in North Wales, offering a just in time delivery service and an array of bespoke packaging solutions.
The North West operation will be supported by Kite’s fleet of highly experienced, industry-leading packaging specialists. Businesses within the catchment area will benefit from their expertise in corrugated re-design, in-the-box solutions, load retention and stretch film solutions, Automotive & Aerospace design team, and compliance with Packaging Regulations.
Facilitated by Kite’s state-of-the-art Mobile Packaging Laboratory (MPL), the North West RDC team will also be able to travel directly to client sites for maximum engagement and understanding of their supply chains. Aboard the MPL, clients will have the opportunity to discuss their requirements, test solutions and view sustainable alternatives with Kite’s packaging specialists.
The new RDC will create jobs within the area, ultimately benefitting local economies within the North West whilst helping businesses to streamline their packaging processes and cut costs.
