Core Tip: Kraft Foods Inc. plans to invest $10 million to expand its one-million-square-foot manufacturing facility in Dover.
Kraft expects to receive a $456,000 grant from the Delaware Strategic Fund to support the acquisition of new manufacturing and packaging equipment to increase production of Kool-Aid. Production is being relocated from a facility in Ecatepec, Mexico.

Kraft currently manufactures various food and beverage products at the Dover site, including Stove Top stuffing mixes, Jell-O desserts, and Kool-Aid, Country Time, and Crystal Light soft drink mixes.

The planned expansion, which will create 29 new, full-time jobs by March 31, 2013, represents the second time in four years that Kraft has added a product line at the facility.
