Chex, owned by General Mills, launches new gluten-free cereal

Core Tip: Chex, the brand owned by American food company General Mills, has launched Apple Cinnamon Chex, the latest addition to its line of gluten-free cereals.
According to the company, Apple Cinnamon Chex is sprinkled with real apple and cinnamon. It offers 9g of whole grain per serving and has no artificial colors or flavors.

Chex marketing associate director Liz Abate Mascolo said the new Apple Cinnamon Chex provides families, including those living a gluten-free lifestyle, with a wholesome and flavorful breakfast option.

Apple Cinnamon Chex joins the brand's other gluten-free cereal flavors such as Rice, Corn, Honey Nut, Chocolate, Cinnamon.

Chex gluten-free cereals are available on cereal shelves nationwide for an average retail price of $3.39 per box.
