Cabinet Approves Distribution of €68.2M for Fishing Programmes

Core Tip: The Cabinet has approved the Agreement, formalising the criteria for distribution and financial commitments resulting from the Fisheries Sector Conference, for a total of €68,283,263.

Specifically, €57,483,263 has been allocated for transfers to the Autonomous Communities with the anticipated funding for the Programme of the European Fisheries Fund (EFF). The aim is to alleviate the difficult financial situation and to meet commitments and payments for the FEP projects, transferring part of the advance available.

The other €10.8 million euros is for the National Decommissioning Plan 2012
