According to the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI), January to July agricultural exports this year represent a cumulative growth of 10.9 per cent, over the same period of 2012.
In the seventh month of the year with the products in highest demand were cattle (118 per cent), mango (55.2 per cent), coffee (39.9 per cent) and avocado (15.6 per cent).
This information is part of the monthly report from INEGI, with respect to the balance of Mexico's merchandise trade during the month of July 2012.
Note that food exports (including agricultural and agribusiness) exceeded $12,500 million in the first half of 2012, this means an increase of 4.31 per cent pro, compared to the same period last year.
