UK-based supermarket chain Morrisons has re-launched its ‘Food To Go’ offer by introducing new products across its sandwich, sushi and snack express range.

The new range includes over 90 new and improved lines including 15 sandwiches that are freshly made in store; seven sushi lines; six new cake bars; and the introduction of Morrisons own 250ml orange juice.

The freshly made lines feature ingredients such as King Prawns, fresh rocket and Romaine lettuce. Freshly baked French sticks from the in store bakeries will also be used for the baguettes such as the 'Beef and Onion Baguette' and the 'Tuna and Cucumber Baguette'.

The launch will also include a £2.00 meal deal comprising: a £1.40 Sandwich; a 20-32.5g packet of Walkers crisps; and a 375ml bottle of Coke, Diet Coke, Oasis or a 750ml bottle of Abbey Wells water.

Individual prices of sandwiches will start at £1 for varieties such as 'Just Ham', 'Cheese and Onion' and 'Cheese and Tomato' and will not exceed £2.50. Clear shelf-edge signage and packaging will be used to guide customers to different categories such as green for vegetarian options and blue for fish.
