Nestlé Prepared Foods Company, doing business as Buitoni North America, is recalling a limited quantity (1292 bags) of one variety of BUITONI® Ravioli which is mislabeled. The bag packaging identifies the ravioli as containing Spinach & Portobello Mushroom filling. However, it may be possible that the ravioli contains a filling of Shrimp & Lobster, ingredients which are allergens. The item is sold only at Target stores.
The recall affects one variety, BUITONI® Spinach & Portobello Mushroom All Natural Ravioli with a UPC code of 24842-99186, a production code (on the right side panel) of 225451757 and a “best before” date of OCT 2013. Nestlé issued this voluntary recall of the entire production run to ensure the safety of consumers.
Consumers who have purchased the item may contact Nestlé Consumer Services directly at (800)392-3057 (8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday) to receive a full refund.
