At the SupplySide West Global Expo and Conference in Las Vegas, Nov. 5-9, Glanbia Nutritionals will present a range of nutritional food and beverage prototypes, focusing on two growing market sectors: nutritional beverages and better-for-you snacking.
At booth #20055, attendees can sample a high-acid ginger pear protein beverage, formulated with Glanbia Nutritionals’ BevWise™ A-101WS ingredient solution, the ginger pear beverage prototype demonstrates reduced astringency and clean flavor expression in a clear beverage. A blend of whey and soy protein specifically developed for high acid applications, BevWise™ A-101WS delivers superior functionality as well as excellent nutritive value.
Further highlighting its beverage formulation expertise, Glanbia Nutritionals will also showcase an energy and recovery superfruit punch, featuring CarniPure™ for sustained energy release, and VitaCholine™, an essential nutrient for athletic recovery. The energy and recovery beverage prototype also includes PepForm™ 2:1:1 BCAA Peptides for increased delivery of the beneficial branched chain amino acids Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine.
In terms of snacking, Glanbia Nutritionals will offer probiotic and omega-3 tortilla chips formulated with Ganeden BC30™ a shelf-stable probiotic that supports digestive health and immune system maintenance. For enhanced textural and visual appeal, the tortilla chips will also be prepared with SelectGrad® Cracked Flax LW Brown Flaxseed, which also offers an excellent and stable source of omega-3 nutrition. The tortilla chips prototype will be complemented by an antioxidant salsa containing pTeroPure®, a powerful, nature-identical antioxidant for overall health benefits.
For attendees with a sweet tooth, Glanbia Nutritionals is presenting a blueberry almond chewy granola bar, featuring the company’s award-winning OptiSol® 2000 milk protein concentrate binding system. OptiSol 2000 offers up to 50 percent sugar reduction and excellent binding properties for chewy granola bars, baked bars, cereal clusters and snack bars, without compromising on the flavor and texture characteristics of the food.
