CLIF Builder’s is a protein bar designed to help make the most of a workout and is now available in major UK retailers including Tesco Extra stores and Boots.

CLIF Builder’s, from the makers of the CLIF Bar energy bar, contains 20g of protein, to help aid the growth and maintenance of muscle mass, and Vitamin B6 to help contribute to normal protein and glycogen metabolism.

What’s more, unlike other protein bars, CLIF Builder’s is free from hydrogenated oils and sugar alcohols.

Available in three flavours; Chocolate, Chocolate Peanut Butter and Chocolate Mint, CLIF Builder’s has an RRP of £2.35 per bar.

Suitable for vegans and certified kosher, CLIF Builder’s can be enjoyed on-the-go either before or after exercise as a source of protein that the body needs for growth and maintenance of muscle mass.

Containing healthy and natural ingredients like organic oat fibre, nuts, cocoa, peanut butter and organic soy protein, the bars are formulated to optimise balanced nutrition, with a ratio of 40/30/30 of carbohydrate/protein/fat.

Sources of fat include nuts and sunflower oil – both of which are considered to be healthier fats.

Soya forms the main protein source in CLIF Builder’s as it is the only non-animal protein containing all of the essential amino acids and helps to balance the carbohydrate, protein and fat ratios, whilst contributing to taste and texture.
