The Wine Foundry, a Sonoma-based company owned by Castlegate Capital Advisors and offers clients with winemaking support and resources, has begun operations at its new custom wine production facility in Sonoma.

Having purchased the assets of Crushpad in August 2012 and opened the new facility, Castlegate has secured the wines from the original customers.

The new facility will help The Wine Foundry offer new wines made from California's well known regions including Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino and Santa Barbara.

The Wine Foundry sales and operations vice president Steve Ryan said they are rebuilding client relations and are committed to accommodating client requests whenever possible.

"The most valuable currency we have at the moment is responsiveness and accurate information. We are offering existing clients preferred pricing and a first shot at buying any excess bottles or barrels we have in our inventory," Ryan added.

Wine Foundry further plans to expand and redesign its e-commerce platform to enhance sales for commercial clients.
