Bordeaux-based winery Barton & Guestier (B&G) has launched a new packaging for its extensive range of AOC wines across the world.
The new educative labels feature information related to French vineyards and their appellations, whereas the backlabels provide information and QR codes related to the product sheet, the B&G website and its social media link - Facebook.
The new packaging featuring the distinctive label shape, the strong B&G branding, the red B&G Passeport stamp and wines housed in Bordeaux and Burgundy shape bottles make this range impactful on the shelf, claims the company.
B&G chief winemaker Laurent Prada said making a range of wine from 19 appellations of France is a tough task.
"It forces you to think carefully about the typicity of each product in order to guarantee to our consumer that they are experiencing wine true to their terroir," Prada added.
"This is only possible thanks to the very tight partnership we have in each French region. Even more than the technical know-how, the human relationship with the wine grower is key."
The new packaging replaces the Barton & Guestier Gold Labels.
