Tootie Pie Company, a US-based manufacturer of handmade and baked pies, has announced the re-launch of its pies in about 25 H-E-B plus stores in Texas.
Tootie Pie's products, which have been developed using fresh fruits and fine ingredients, will be available in H-E-B stores across Houston, Austin, Dallas and San Antonio, just in time for the holiday season, said the company.
Tootie Pie president and CEO Don Merrill said that launching the products in the H-E-B plus gives the company good exposure in some of the best metropolitan areas in the state.
Texas-based H-E-B operates 337 stores across Texas and Mexico. The company has sales of more than $18bn.
Tootie Pie bakes and sells handmade pies through three basic sales channels: retail, corporate and wholesale.
