Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd is recalling all codes of its own-brand Red Tree Iced Rich Fruit Cake, as signs of mould spoilage have been identified on some of the products.

Signs of mould spoilage have been identified on some Red Tree Iced Rich Fruit Cake and consumption could present a risk to health.

Action taken by the company:
Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd is recalling all batch codes of the above product. Point-of-sale notices are being displayed in store explaining that consumers can return the product to their nearest store for a full refund.

No other Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd products are known to be affected.

Advice to consumers:
