On 22nd November, Temuco, in the Southern regions of Chile, experienced a frost. Much of the area's blueberry cultivation was affected to varying degrees.

The Chilean Blueberry Committee reports that the situation is going to be further evaluated in order that export figures can be adjusted as necessary.

The most affected areas are reported to be from Teodoro Schmidt to Freire, with varieties Elliot and Legacy suffering the worst damage.

Full damage reports are expected in the Chilean Blueberry Committee's next weekly crop report due on the 29th November.
