US-based United Dairy Farmers (UDF) has introduced Greek frozen yogurt range under its Homemade Brand. The line includes five flavors - blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, peach and honey granola.
The company noted that the new yogurt range combines the tart, taste of Greek yogurt with Homemade Brand ingredients. It offers fewer calories, about half the fat and more protein compared to traditional ice cream.
The treats are made with fruit and offer some of the health benefits of Greek yogurt including probiotics, the company claims. Homemade Greek frozen yogurt is available in pint-sized containers at the grocery and UDF outlets across the US.
Homemade Brand, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, offers frozen treats, including ice cream, yogurt, sherbet and novelty items. Its products and flavors are sold in select grocery stores across the nation and in 184 local UDF dairy stores throughout Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.
