US-based restaurant chain LongHorn Steakhouse has introduced a new menu, which features a variety of steak cuts available in casual dining.
The new menu features, Porterhouse, Rancher's Sirloin and Stuffed Filets. The Prterhouse will be served with new LongHorn Steak Sauce and a head of golden roasted garlic is included to enhance the steak, as well as two sides and two salads, available at $39.99.
Rancher's Sirloin will be topped with smoky bacon, a rich bordelaise sauce and a sunny-side-up egg that breaks open to melt over the steak. The Stuffed Filets will be either stuffed with white cheddar and bacon or stuffed with lobster and topped with a half lobster tail.
LongHorn Steakhouse executive chef Kurt Hankins said that the steaks will be prepared on their hot steel or open fire char grill.
"Our new menu is intended to give guests a different kind of steak experience from the culinary twists we've added to our steaks to the wider variety of cuts and accompanying sides that you can only get at LongHorn," added Hankins.
LongHorn Steakhouse plans to open about 45 new locations over the next year, bringing their total to well over 400 restaurants throughout 36 states.
