Core Tip: Blackheath Beverage Group (BBG) is set to extend its partnership with Atlantico Rum by expanding its distribution network throughout the US in 2013.
Blackheath Beverage Group (BBG), a Connecticut-based company that offers sales and marketing platforms for alcohol suppliers and brand owners, is set to extend its partnership with Atlantico Rum by expanding its distribution network throughout the US in 2013.

Under the agreement, BBG will serve as Atlantico's sole US sales agency and will use its proprietary sales and marketing platform, headline activities and brand promotions through brand ambassador Enrique Iglesias to expand the brand's growth in the country.

Atlantico co-founder Brandon Lieb said while working with Blackheath in the last four months they have reported significant increase in sales of the rum.

"Consumer demand for the brand continues to accelerate and we look forward to expanding our relationship with Blackheath in order to help us meet that demand," Lieb added.

BBG CEO Jay Harkins said that their sales team has done a good job in securing Atlantico partnership.

"2013 will prove to be an even better year for Atlantico where our efforts and resources will now expand nationally," Harkins said.

Atlantico has retained Florida-based importer of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages Park Street Imports to import its rum in the US.
