The product affected by this recall is Sainsbury's Honey Roasted Jumbo Cashews, 200g, with a 'best before' date of 18 May 2013.
Consumers who are allergic or sensitive to peanuts have been asked not to consume this product as it can lead to a severe reaction. The product can be returned to the nearest Sainsbury's store for a full refund.
Sainsbury's will display customer notices in stores, explaining the reason behind the recall. The company will be contacting the relevant allergy support organizations, which will tell members who are allergic or sensitive to peanuts about the recall.
No other Sainsbury's products are known to be affected.
