After increasing for two consecutive weeks, exports prices of fresh Norway salmon saw a small decline for the period of 7 to 13 January.
Export prices of fresh salmon came to NOK 33.35 per kilo (USD 5.94, EUR 4.46, down 0.7 percent from the previous seven-day period. Export quantity was up however, to 15.684 metric tons (MT), compared to 10,364 MT the previous week.
Norway exported 553 MT of frozen salmon at NOK 30.22 per kilo (USD 5.39, EUR 4.05) for the week, compared to 204 MT at NOK 27.16 per kilo (USD 4.84, EUR 3.63) from 31 December to 6 January.
