The product being recalled has been supplied to Scottish supermarkets.

• Product: Scotty Brand Scotch Broth Soup Mix, 500g

• 'Use by’ dates: 29 January to 3 February 2013

If you are allergic or sensitive to peanuts, do not eat this product. You can return it to the nearest store for a refund.

The company is recalling the implicated batches from Asda, Tesco and Morrisons supermarkets in Scotland. Customer notices will be displayed in stores to tell consumers why the product is being recalled and that they can return it to the store for a full refund. The company has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell members who are allergic or sensitive to peanuts about the recall.
