US-based food company Kellogg has introduced new frozen food range under its Special K, Eggo and MorningStar Farms brands.
The new products include frozen Flatbread Breakfast Sandwiches, Red Berry waffles, Drizzlers waffles featuring strawberry and blueberry topping made with fruit, veggie burger made with MorningStar Farms Mediterranean Chickpea.
Available in in three varieties - Sausage, Egg and Cheese; Ham, Egg, and Pepper Jack Cheese; and Egg with Vegetables and Pepper Jack Cheese, the Special K Flatbread Breakfast Sandwiches offer between 180 to 240 calories, protein and fiber.
Special K Red Berry waffles, which are low in fat, build on the appeal of the Special K Red Berry cereal, while Eggo Drizzlers are home-style waffles with blueberry or strawberry toppings.
MorningStar Farms Mediterranean Chickpea vegetarian burgers are made with ingredients such as chickpeas, garlic, red onion, and spinach. The burgers offer 110 calories and contain 70% less fat than a regular burger.
The Special K Breakfast Sandwiches are available at retail stores across the US. The remaining new frozen food products will be available at retailers during the first quarter of 2013.
