Dunkin' Donuts introduces new breakfast sandwich in US

Dunkin' Donuts, an American coffee and baked goods chain, has introduced new Turkey Sausage Breakfast Sandwich - a permanent addition to its DDSMART offerings.

The new Turkey Sausage Breakfast Sandwich is made with a fried egg topped with turkey sausage and a slice of reduced fat cheddar cheese, served on an oven-toasted English Muffin.

Commenting on the launch Dunkin' Brands Global Marketing and Innovation president John Costello said that the Turkey Sausage Breakfast Sandwich was first introduced in select restaurants earlier in 2013.

Turkey Sausage Breakfast Sandwich will be available at participating Dunkin' Donuts restaurants across the nation. It joins other DDSMART menu items that are under 400 calories.

DDSMART menu includes Egg White Flatbread Sandwiches, Egg & Cheese on an English Muffin, Wake-Up Wrap Sandwiches, Oatmeal with Dried Fruit Topping, Small Hot or Iced Coffee, Small Latte Lite, Freshly-brewed Unsweetened Teas and Freshly-brewed Unsweetened medium Iced Tea.

Dunkin' Donuts, is a subsidiary of Dunkin' Brands, offers donut, bagel, muffin, regular/decaf coffee, iced coffee, and hot flavored coffee categories. The chain has more than 10,000 restaurants in 32 countries worldwide.
