DS Waters of America has acquired certain assets related to bottled water and coffee delivery business of California-based Matilija Pure Water.
Matilija Pure Water offers bottled water to the central coast of California and will retain its water softening and filtration services.
With this transaction, DS Waters will manage bottled water and coffee service delivery for former Matilija customers.
The acquisition will also enable Matilija customers to order flavored drink mixes, hot chocolate and coffee products along with their water delivery services. They can also manage their account and delivery schedule online.
DS Waters Southern California region vice president and general manager Mike Garrity said: "We welcome the former Matilija customers to the Sparkletts family and we are working to ensure a smooth transition to incorporate new routes immediately."
DS Waters president and CEO Tom Harrington said: "Our intention is to exceed our customers' expectations regarding the quality of our beverages and delivery services."
