At IFFA 2013, Raps GmbH & Co. KG presented exciting convenience components that enable manufacturers to create versatile lunch and snack offerings. The new preparations of vegetables, herbs and spices complement the existing Raps portfolio and can be used to add variety and a touch of freshness to meats, sausages and snacks.

Tying in with the forthcoming 2014 soccer World Championships in Brazil, the company also showcased its new range of spicy marinades, dips and exotic seasonings which provide meat and vegetarian dishes with South American flair.

From dressings, dips and marinades to soups and sauces: Raps’ convenience components are characterized by short ingredients lists, simple processing properties, high stability and excellent taste. The new vegetable, herb and spice blends expand the company’s classic convenience portfolio. Thanks to the gentle processing of the raw materials, the new products retain their fresh and intense flavours. They are easy to process and versatile in use – for example, as inclusions for cooked sausages or toppings and fillings for meat specialties and snacks. The preparations are available in very fine to coarse forms to suit specific product concepts.

The new Brazilian range also promises variety. The seasonings, seasoning oils, dips and marinades add a touch of Brazil to all kinds of meats as well as vegetarian dishes.

At the “Raps’ Bistro”, recipe ideas and taste samples gave visitors an impression of how versatile the products are in use and how to present them most appealingly. With its Jamón de Cafe Brazil, for instance, Raps showed an outstanding sample: The harmonious combination of ham and coffee flavour provides an extraordinary taste experience.

“IFFA was a great success for us” says Maria-Johanna Schaecher, Managing Director of Raps GmbH & Co. KG. “The many visitors to our stand loved our Brazilian range, our fresh ingredient preparations and our regional-specific sausage specialties. With our wide variety of products as well as their easy-to-handle application options, we developed creative ideas, providing clients with competitive-edge solutions.”
