Farm Fresh Food & Pharmacy here said Thursday it is launching a new, monthly magazine offering recipes, cooking tips, savings and other information.
The 24-page Fresh Ideas magazine is available free in all 43 Farm Fresh locations and online at farmfreshsupermarkets.com beginning June 1.
“With great savings, new recipes and useful tips, Fresh Ideas magazine is a simple and convenient way for our customers to take advantage of the many great food options summer provides,” said Bill Parker, president of Farm Fresh, a division of Minneapolis-based Supervalu.
The publication will feature Farm Fresh’s local food expert, chef Bob Hirasawa, who will offer his recommendations on everything from cooking tips to recipes to food pairings. For example, the inaugural version offers tips for how to choose between marinades and rubs, as well as offering personal recipe favorites like fresh tomato and cucumber salad, marinated ribeyes and “Chef Bob’s summer fruit” specialty.
