HighJump Software, a provider of supply chain management software, has announced that JRS Distribution, a snack distributor based in a Tennessee, US, has chosen its route accounting system to help grow its fast-expanding direct store delivery (DSD) business.
JRS Distribution has chosen the following three systems: HighJump Route Administrator route accounting system, HighJump Route Assistant and HighJump Advantage Link.
With HighJump Route Administrator, JRS Distribution will have a central hub for all front and back office DSD operations, which will allow the company to more efficiently manage routes, hand-held computers and drivers' schedules.
These benefits are extended into the field with HighJump Route Assistant, which runs on a hand-held device and will promote more optimized selling, service, marketing and delivery efforts across the organization.
HighJump Advantage Link will integrate JRS Distribution LLC's business and order-fulfillment systems, including QuickBooks, to facilitate real-time data exchange for faster and more accurate order processes as the product moves from supplier to store shelf.
These solutions are expected to help take the company to the next level of efficiency and customer service by providing immediate access to real-time order and customer information.
DSD solutions group general manager Amy Stelling said that the company's flexible solutions will improve the efficiency and accuracy of JRS Distribution's operations, while providing a central system that can evolve with the company.
JRS Distribution general sales manager JRS Distribution John Fuller said that HighJump's DSD solutions give the employees the tools to be more productive, and that means even better service for the customers.
"And as our company and routes expand, the software will grow with us to ensure that all of our efforts are integrated and optimized," Fuller added.
