Core Tip: On June 20th, 2013, the US International Trade Commission (USITC) has determined that the US Xanthan Gum industry is neither threatened by material injury nor materially injured by the imports of Xanthan Gum from Austria.
Jungbunzlauer is very pleased with this result, and views it as a confirmation that Jungbunzlauer conducts its business in a fair manner.

The USITC decision will lead to the termination of the Anti Dumping investigation against Jungbunzlauer by the Department of Commerce. The Department of Commerce is expected to formalize this by an announcement by late July, 2013, according to Jungbunzlauer.

“Jungbunzlauer is a leading manufacturer of Xanthan Gum supplying customers worldwide with products meeting the highest quality standard. Jungbunzlauer is strongly committed to maintain its global presence and specifically committed to continue to service its customers in the United States,” a company statement concluded.
