Agropur Cooperative is rebranding its Main Street Ingredients, based in La Crosse, Wis., to Agropur Ingredients. Legal transition will become official July 8. New logos and brands will be released progressively to customers in the summer and fall. Agropur Ingredients will offer a line of products for the nutritional, dairy, bakery, beverage and cheese industries.
The public launch of the new branding will take place during the Institute of Food Technologists’ annual meeting and food exposition July 13-16 in Chicago.
“Over the past four years we have significantly grown our ingredients portfolio through selective acquisitions in the U.S.,” said Reneck Cayen, vice-president of the business unit ingredients for Agropur Cooperative, which is active in the Canadian dairy industry and has 3,400 dairy producer owners. “It became clear that in order to serve as the best possible resource for our customers it was time to take advantage of our synergies and present a unified vision.”
