Galam Group has implemented a number of significant organizational changes aiming to achieve a two pronged strategy: To enhance the product portfolio while generating closer customer relations. The move will enhance sweetening capabilities and tailor-made sweetening solutions to the Food and Beverage industry, while enriching the products and services available to the non-food industry.
Galam Group will divide all company activities into two divisions: The Food Division and Non-Food Division. The move will enrich the products and services also available to the non-food industry, while the Food Division will pursue dedicated R&D, sales and marketing activities in sweetening solutions. In both divisions there will be a greater focus on customized product development that better responds to customers’ needs.
Food application laboratories in Germany, Spain, the Czech Republic and Israel will be incorporated into the new Food Division, fostering a better understanding of our customers' needs and assisting them in optimally responding to consumer demand. In addition, a Food Innovations Department has been established to better assess, forecast and suggest new industry solutions and directions. Galam Group customers can expect to experience a much deeper understanding of their needs reflected in direct and focused contact from technical experts and dedicated sales professionals.
Over 250 professionals and key personnel from the Israeli food and beverage industry attended Galam Group's 2013 conference. This year's event was dedicated to global trends that affect the Food and Beverages industry. In addition to understanding consumer trends, the following three dominant industry shifts were discussed: Sugar reduction, sodium reduction, and the use of prebiotics in F&B. In each topic trends, industry activities and practical tools (including tasting) were explored by experts from Galam Group and external industry experts. The conference was an enormous success and Galam Group would like to thank all those who contributed: Presenters, organizers, researchers and of course the participants – those new to the conference and the significant number of guests who have been joining for many years.
