Cermaq’s board of directors on Thursday approved the sale of all or parts of the company’s fish feed business, EWOS.
More than two-thirds of shareholders voted for the sale.
Cermaq first announced on 17 June that it had received a bid for EWOS. On Monday, the company said negotiations with the two private equity groups were ongoing and progressing and announced it received another competitive bid for EWOS.
The company aims to have a definitive agreement for the sale of EWOS executed in mid-July.
