Core Tip: VuQo has expanded its licensing agreement with Playboy Enterprises by adding super-premium line of spirits, including vodka, tequila and gin, to its global distribution portfolio.
VuQo, the maker of VuQo Premium Vodka, has expanded its licensing agreement with Playboy Enterprises by adding super-premium line of spirits, including vodka, tequila and gin, to its global distribution portfolio.

In April 2013, VuQo had signed a licensing agreement with Playboy Enterprises to develop and distribute the super premium Playboy Vodka in Asia.

The new deal will allow VuQo to distribute Playboy Vodka and Playboy Tequila in 2013, while Playboy Gin in 2014 throughout the world.

VuQo founder and CEO Rich Cabael said the Playboy brand enjoys 97% unaided global brand awareness and has been an iconic lifestyle brand for nearly 60 years.

"We are thrilled to have this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to partner with Playboy in the development of their global spirits," Cabael added.

Playboy Enterprises executive vice president and chief revenue officer Matt Nordby said from the premium spirits featured in Playboy Magazine to the nightlife and parties the brand is famous for, Playboy is excited to enter this category with a best-in-class partner.

"We are confident Playboy's brand power combined with VuQo's superior product production will create exciting opportunities for global distribution partners and ultimately, consumers and retail partners," Nordby added.
