Chivas Brothers, the Scotch whiskey and premium gin business of Pernod Ricard, has introduced its Strathisla 12yo single malt whiskey in a new logo and bottle design.

The new packaging features a clear glass bottle with thick base and wide pouring neck and a label with the brand's new logo.

Distilled at the Strathisla Distillery in the Scottish highlands, the 40% ABV Strathisla 12yo expression features fruity smell, mellow nutty sweet taste, hay-like aromas that are balanced with dry oakiness, and mellow finish.

The expression is available in both 700ml and 1l bottle formats, which are packaged in a gift box. They are available in more than 25 markets including the UK, Spain and Asia Duty Free at recommended retail price of £40.49 or $49.99.

Chivas Brothers malts portfolio international brand director Nikki Burgess said Strathisla 12yo has long been considered the connoisseurs' best kept secret as a rare malt whiskey produced in limited quantities from a world famous distillery.

"We are confident that the fresh approach for Strathisla, an example of Chivas Brothers' continued commitment to innovation, will attract both adventurous and established whisky drinkers to the brand and the wider Chivas Brothers portfolio," Burgess added.
