Canada-based Dare Foods has introduced new Boulangerie Grissol Sweet Thins in three flavors - Banana Bread, Chocolate Brownie and Lemon Poppy Seed.

The crispy slices are are made by baking, slicing and toasting fresh loaves and contain only 80 calories per pack, no artificial flavors, the company said.

Dare Foods Bakery Marketing senior director Kelly McInenly said: "We also wanted to create a snack that stands out from others on the market. With Sweet Thins™, people can indulge in their favourite sweet bakery-style loaves and satisfy their sweet tooth within their healthy lifestyles."

Headquartered in Kitchener, Ontario, Dare Foods provides peanut-free food solutions, cookies, candies, fruit snacks, crackers and fine breads. The company employs more than 1,100 people across its six facilities in North America.

Its brands include Breton, Bear Paws, RealFruit, Whippet, Simple Pleasures, Boulangerie Grissol and Wagon Wheels.
