Core Tip: Tesco recalls various own brand ambient meals due to a production fault which may result in mould contamination.
Risk:

There has been a production fault with the convenience meals listed below, which could cause the rice in some packs to become mouldy during storage.

Best before dates: all date codes are being recalled.

Action taken by the company:

Tesco has recalled all date codes of the products listed above and displayed product recall notices in stores. These notices will alert consumers to the recall and advise them of the actions to take if they have purchased the product(s). A copy of the consumer notice issued by Tesco is attached.

No other Tesco products are known to be affected.

Advice to consumers:

If you have purchased one of the above products, please do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store where you bought it for a full refund or contact Tesco customer services on 0800 505 555.
