Tesco has issued a product recall on eight Indian and Chinese own-label ambient meals, due to a production fault.
The retail giant said that it was recalling the products because the fault meant the rice in some packs could grow mould during storage.
The recall affects all date codes of 250g packs of the Indian Chicken Jalfrezi, Szechuan Chicken, Chilli Con Carne, Chicken Tikka Masala, Beef in Black Bean Sauce, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Indian Chicken Korma and Balti Vegetable Curry.
Notices have been displayed in Tesco stores to alert customers to the recall.
At the end of June, Tesco recalled its 225g own-label yeast extract product, due to fears that it may contain high levels of histamine.
