Established in 2006, Nom Dairy is the UK subsidiary of Austrian company Nom and operates a yogurt facility at Donnington Wood, Telford, with annual revenues of £43m.
The acquisition comes after Müller's recent purchase of milk processor Robert Wiseman Dairies and a chilled desserts facility at Minsterley, Shropshire.
Value of the transaction was not disclosed.
Theo Müller CEO Heiner Kamps said this acquisition underlines the company's commitment to grow its presence in the UK, which along with Germany and the US, is a core market for Müller.
"We believe that there are strong opportunities in the UK private label yogurt sector and the Telford facility will help us to realise our plans to provide customers with great products in this important market."
Müller is currently constructing Britain's largest butter manufacturing facility at Market Drayton, Shropshire.
