Morrisons Supermarket has launched its Christmas campaign far ahead of its competitors this year with its 'Big Christmas Bonus'.
The supermarket will give a £40 voucher to customers that spend at least £40 in an individual transaction during nine of the next 10 weeks (7 October to 15 December).
Also customers who spend £40 each week between 7-28 October can have the option of receiving a £10 voucher, rather than saving for the full £40.
The 'Big Christmas Bonus' campaign has been promoted via print adverts and a TV commercial that was broadcasted last weekend.
The campaign will also include ‘Weekly Wowzer’ to promote Christmas-related products such as Cadbury Roses and Nestle Quality Street tins.
Morrisons pre-tax profits fell 22% to £344m in the six months to August.
Online shopping will be available from the end of January 2014 after finalising a £216m agreement with Ocado.
