Vitafoods Europe, the leading ingredients and raw materials event for the nutraceutical and functional food and drink industries, is inviting leading experts from around the world to submit papers for inclusion in its scientific conference, which focuses on the future of nutraceuticals and challenges latest research thinking.
The most forward-thinking submissions from scientists, research teams and commercial managers will be considered by the Vitafoods Europe Conference Executive Advisory Board, which comprises senior industry professionals from leading academic, commercial and consultative organisations.
The 2014 conference takes place in Geneva from 6-8 May 2014, running alongside the Vitafoods Europe exhibition. Last year’s event was a record-breaking success, with over 12,300 attendees meeting 700 exhibitors, sharing industry knowledge and building business relationships.
The 2014 Vitafoods Europe Conference will drill down into the core topics and challenges facing the nutraceutial industry, offering the widest choice of in-depth presentations available. Along with traditional presentations, the Executive Advisory Board would like to receive details on scientific papers, regional learnings, new markets, case studies, latest research thinking, panel debates and new applications. Abstracts focusing on innovation will be prioritised, as will brand new content and research created specifically for Vitafoods Europe.
The board will conduct a blind review of papers and will be looking for good basic, applied or marketing science that is logically presented and covers nutrients, nutrition and health.
Chris Lee, Vitafoods Portfolio Director, said: "Each year we strive to develop an innovative conference programme, encouraging professionals from academic institutes, consultancies and research houses to present their latest findings, ideas and discoveries to the industry. The 2014 Vitafoods Europe Conference will offer more choice than ever before tackling the key issues that enable delegates to drive their businesses forward."
The deadline for submissions is 2 December 2013. You can get more info from Vitafoods Europe.
