The Macallan has unveiled The Macallan M decanter – a new addition to the company’s broad portfolio.The single malt whiskey producer has partnered with creative director Fabien Baron and crystal masters Lalique for the creation of the new product. M's whiskey features rich dried fruits, spices, orange citrus and wood notes.
The Macallan Fine and Rare whiskies director David Cox said, "A single malt of the most exquisite complexity and character, M will set a new standard in the world of decanters to become the iconic representation of The Macallan."
The Macallan will release 1,750 crystal decanters of M, engraved with its own individual number across the world this year.
Beginning from November 2013, M will be available in Canada with a recommended retail price of C$5,000 ($4,787).
