The 2013 edition of Fi-Food ingredients Europe, the main exhibition for food&beverage ingredient suppliers, distributors and buyers, has taken place in Frankfurt.
The Aureli Mario company also took part to the event with a stand which has been particularly appreciated by professionals.
Among the new products presented, there were vegetable breading and carrot fibre with high water retention levels.
As Alessandro Aureli, Marketing & Sales Manager of the company, explained: "Vegetable breadings are ideal to introduce more vegetables in the diet of both adults and children. In addition, as they are flours obtained by drying raw materials, their vitamin content is particularly high."
Another ingredient is carrot fibre with high water retention levels (the WRC is equal to 13, which is very high).
Alessandro explains that they "have obtained this fibre from our Fucino carrots. It is very useful for the meat and cured meat industries.
Fi-Food is held in a different city every year, and enables those who take part to keep up to date with the food sectors. "A lot of people take part, as is often the case with trade fairs that take place in Germany."
The manager concluded by saying that "our innovations are a testimony to the great potential of the agricultural sector, provided that one can read how tendencies are evolving and is willing to take a leap forward."
