Core Tip: Denny Bros – the creator of Fix-a-Form® the UK’s leading brand of multi-page leaflet labels Is reporting an increase in the number of labels it is producing to accommodate European and worldwide product sales.
The company is finding that multilingual Fix-a-Forms® have moved from niche to mainstream use among many manufacturers seeking to attract additional business in a growing number of EU countries – and also from around the world.

Where products demand that information is relayed in multiple languages, the multi-page leaflet label is proving the option of choice for many as they allow for the effective communication of large amounts of text on-pack to deliver vital product descriptions, ingredients, recipes, competitions and promotions. One label can include any size ofmini-marketing leaflet ranging from 2 to 120 pages in size. There can be many languages included for products for export without the need for any additional labels which simplifies inventory and logistics.

Explains Natalie Bonner from Denny Bros: ‘With the ongoing cost challenges facing all manufacturers today, most are still using Fix-a-Forms® to convey multilingual information. With the ability to design the labels to be all shapes and sizes, to suit any pack, there is no need for major artwork changes to the original product packaging. Fix-a-Forms® can be simply overlaid onto the existing pack design.’

A premium quality, informational Fix-a-Form® ingredients label helped Baxters Food Group to market its range of Jack Daniels barbecue sauces to a growing number of countries around the globe. The sauces, made by Baxters under license, are now available in 19 territories spanning Eastern and Western Europe and Scandinavia.

A spokesperson from Baxters explains why the label has made life easier, ‘It’s clearly a legal requirement to give the ingredients and nutritional information in the right language for the market and, in the case of the Jack Daniels label we have been able to dramatically streamline the number of labels we produce. Each ‘variety’ label carries the information in the multitude of languages necessary to cover our current global requirements which helps to greatly reduce the logistics of packaging.’

The neatly folded, 8 page resealable multi-page label was designed and printed to the very precise guidelines set out by US makers Brown Forman. It mirrors the main self-adhesive front label but is fixed neatly around the back of the 275g glass bottle.

A Kleer-Form label from Denny Bros has also helped to keep information about Juice Lubes, a mountain bike fluid, rolling around the globe. One small Fix-a-Form® used by the cycle product specialist VeloBrands has supported the brand in the UK and overseas bike sectors by overcoming packaging challenges presented by EU health and safety regulations. A one-size fits all leaflet-label featured on all products from the range.

‘Juice Lubes is doing very well in the UK and we are continuing to break into other significant European markets including Germany which has massive potential in terms of bike product sales’, says Will Miles of VeloBrands.

‘The Fix-a-Form we have created with Denny Bros allows us to present essential information on-pack while keeping the focus on the novelty and personality of our products. We know that Juice Lubes are top performing products because people tell us that they are and we are looking to encourage even greater trial purchase to consolidate sales.’

‘Anything like Fix-a-Form which helps us to keep the integrity of the brand together at all times is good with us – and we intend to make more use of this unique packaging concept in the future.’
